Product Description

MIL-PRF-87937 Type 4 is an extremely effective liquid cleaner/degreaser designed for cleaning oily residues and carbon stains found on all types of aircraft.  MIL-PRF-87937 Type 4 contains buffered alkaline cleaners and corrosion inhibitors and when used as directed, it will not harm painted or aluminum surfaces and is safe to use on any surface not harmed by water.  MIL-PRF-87937 Type 4 is biodegradable, mm-toxic, non-flammable, contains no NPE (nonylphenolethoxylates) or EPA hazardous ingredients, and leaves no residue after rinsing.

APPLICATION: 
MIL-PRF-87937 Type 4 is a concentrated cleaner that should be diluted with water for best cleaning results.  The dilution rate depends on the condition of the soiled surface, etc.  A suggested rate follows:

HEAVY CLEANING:   1 part cleaner to 10 parts water
LIGHT CLEANING:   1 part cleaner to 20 parts water
STEAM CLEANING:   1 part cleaner to 50 parts water
