Safe Acid Water Scale / Rust / Mussel / Barnacle Remover
AC-1540 is an aqueous blend of urea hydrochloride (safe acid) and detergents designed to rapidly clean and descale production equipment, heat exchangers, piping, and any equipment contaminated with barnacles, mussels, calcium, rust and other mineral deposits that restrict the performance of critical water systems. AC-1540 contains corrosion inhibitors to minimize the attack of the acid on iron, chrome, stainless and aluminum surfaces. AC-1540isformulated to work quickly and effectively, thus minimizing the amount of time the product is in contact with sensitive surfaces. AC-1540 is phosphate free, biodegradable and contains no VOCs and is DOT non-regulated. Neutralize with any available alkaline (soda ash, caustic, etc.) prior to disposal.
